Our non-profit grants are designed to help build thriving communities where we live and work.
Broadstreet Bank founded the TCBS Foundation in 2021 to offer support for non-profit groups served by Broadstreet Bank.
The TCBS Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization founded in 2021 by Broadstreet Bank.
It was created to support not-for-profit groups, institutions, schools, or other qualifying organizations operating in the communities served by Broadstreet Bank as a way of adding to the quality of life for people living in those communities.
The Foundation has identified three primary areas it will emphasize in its support:
Not-for-profit community-based companies, clubs, committees, associations, corporations, or other organizations primarily established to further educational, charitable, religious, cultural, or local economic development purposes.
Programs that assist in improving the quality of life of children in the community or programs that foster education, learning, and leadership.
Initiatives at the primary, secondary, and post-secondary school levels that raise the aspirations of students in the community and enhance knowledge in specific areas, such as economics, communications, business, and public speaking, as well as initiatives that support the education process.
Grants are generally limited to use in the market areas served by the community and will include support for program development as well as for new and expanded facilities and equipment.
Grant recipients must demonstrate Section 501(c)(3) or other non-profit status and a need for private financial support with direct relevance to the Foundation’s areas of giving interest.
The Foundation does not provide financial support for political organizations or candidates for political office or activities for sectarian purposes and does not engage in political lobbying.
