Description |
This position reports directly to the CFO and will be responsible for the Bank’s financial procedures. These procedures include records and statements for compliance with laws and regulations. managing and overseeing all facets of the accounting operations including monthly close cycle, financial reporting, internal control, SEC reporting, liquidity analysis, call reporting and process development. Candidates should possess solid communication, technology, analytical, and management skills. Knowledge of the aspects of generally accepted accounting principles is required.
1. General Accounting Oversight.
2. Directs and coordinates all accounting operation functions.
3. Coordinates and prepares internal and external financial statements.
4. Coordinate SEC Reporting.
5. Oversee Liquidity Analysis.
6. Coordinates activities of external auditors.
7. Provides management with information vital to the decision-making process.
8. Manages the budget process.
9. Works to improve the effectiveness of accounting software.
10. Oversees regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance.
11. Evaluate accounting and internal control systems.
12. Helps Create Internal Policies and spend Controls.
13. Works alongside management to hire, train, and retain skilled accounting staff.
